Alexandria, VA (November 7, 2005) - Today, the Airforwarders Association, the industry voice of air freight forwarders and affiliated businesses, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Brandon Fried Executive Director. Mr. Fried will replace David Wirsing, who has served as Executive Director since 1999.

"We're thrilled to add Brandon to the AfA team," said Laura Sanders, chairperson of the Association's Board of Directors. "Brandon has a long history of outstanding work in the air cargo industry. As a past chair and longtime member of our association, he will bring a fresh perspective on the challenges facing forwarders today. We wish Dave all the best in his next endeavor. He has made a significant contribution to the Association and has our gratitude and respect."

Mr. Fried most recently served as chief operating officer for forwarder Adcom Worldwide. He was elected the chairperson of the Airforwarders Association in both 2002 and 2003 and served on the TSA Aviation Security Advisory Committee.

"The Airforwarders Association has many exciting plans to improve and expand member services for 2006 and I am honored to accept this position," said Brandon Fried.
