A Forum on Air Cargo Congestion at O'Hare

28 May 2015
2:00pm - 4:00pm EDT

Registration for this event has passed

The air cargo community in Chicago is planning to hold a forum to discuss ways to alleviate the congestion that has plagued the trade for the past several months.

We have identified this goes beyond the intense construction in and around the airport, but gets to how ground handling companies, or GHC's, staff and train their personnel in responding to the increased cargo volumes.

We are working with stakeholders to ensure this meeting, which will be comprised of forwarders, truckers, airlines and ground handling companies, is well attended and constructive dialog takes place and steps to alleviate these problem are taken.

I will be one of two facilitators for this discussion along with Scott Case of Position : Global. Scott spent seven years as the chair of the NCBFAA's airfreight committee and I worked personally with him on a variety of issues.

Don't wait. Registration is only open to the first one hundred people.

Thank you and I hope to see you in Chicago.
